Biden Pushes Congress to Expand Medicare

"Let’s finish the job and make benefits permanent. Let’s expand Medicare for everyone,” the president said regarding The Affordable Care Act, which expires in 2025.


In his second State of the Union Address, President Biden called on Congress to expand Medicare and make the Affordable Care Act permanent, according to a report by The Epoch Times.


Joe Biden had numerous plans to expand insurance coverage. NPR reported that chief among them was President-elect Joe Biden's strategy of lowering the eligibility age for Medicare from 65 to 60.
