In a statement made by French President Emmanuel Macron's office, his administration claimed that Joe Biden has agreed to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a summit aimed to avoid conflict in Ukraine.
“The President of the Republic spoke with the President of the United States, Mr. Joe BIDEN and the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir PUTIN,” the statement said. “He proposed a summit to be held between President BIDEN and President PUTIN and then with relevant stakeholders to discuss security and strategic stability in Europe. Presidents BIDEN and PUTIN have both accepted the principle of such a summit.”

Is Russia still going to invade Ukraine?
If you are not asking yourself this question right now, you have probably fallen victim to what is looking more and more like a textbook "tail waging the dog" situation. Where Joe Biden and his administration are simply using the confusion of the moment to spread pretty much whatever kind of "inelegance" they think will make themselves look good.
What better way to distract from the dismal failures of Joe Biden's first year in office than to focus the public's attention on an "imminent" Russian invasion of Ukraine, only to have Joe Biden, the angel of peace, swoop in and save the world through diplomatic talks with Vladimir Putin.
Imagine it: the Biden administration trying to shift the people's view of them from The administration of high taxes, record 40-year inflation, vaccine mandates, supply chain shortages, record government spending (and debt), and open borders, to: the administration that 'single-handedly' saved the world from "the greatest threat to world peace since World War II."
Is this really all an elaborate hoax?
Only time will tell. After all, who knows exactly what Russia wants. But one thing is for sure: the Biden Administration NEEDS a crisis that they can "fix." Their poll numbers are worse than the poll numbers for Covid itself. And according to most estimates, the whole of the Democrat party is cruising for a bruising in the 2022 midterms.
Be on the lookout for the federal government's exploitation of confusing situations--like the Covid-19 pandemic--for short-term political gain. There is a reason why a Democrat has been in office for almost every single major war in American history since the Civil war.

“The substance will have to be prepared by Secretary BLINKEN and Minister LAVROV during their meeting on Thursday 24 February,” the statement continued. “It can only be held at the condition that Russia does not invade Ukraine. The President of the Republic will work with all stakeholders to prepare the content of these discussions.”
The White House released a short statement about the phone call with Macron, saying, “They discussed ongoing diplomacy and deterrence efforts in response to Russia’s military buildup on the borders of Ukraine.”
