BREAKING: Biden Announces His Supreme Court Pick

Updated: Feb 28, 2022

President Biden will nominate Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to fill a vacancy on the Supreme Court, according to a Wall Street Journal Report.

The president made very clear that he was not interested in picking a male justice or a justice who had lighter skin. After announcing earlier this year that he would only pick a justice who was a black woman, the president kept his promise.

This will be the first time a Black woman was nominated to be a justice on the nation’s highest court, according to people familiar with the decision. This will also be the first time in American history when skin color was openly used as a determining factor for a presidents Supreme Court pick.

During his announcement, President Biden shamelessly said that he thought it was time America's government looked "more like its people." Indicating that outward appearance and ethnicity should take more of a central role in determining who should serve as part of the government or its judicial system.

Judge Jackson, 51 years old, serves on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, one of the nation’s most influential courts and often a steppingstone for Supreme Court justices.

"This will also be the first time in American history when skin color was openly used as a determining factor for a presidents Supreme Court pick." Bing-OOOO. This sums it all up...how sad. The left has literally thrown away the American ideal, so beautifully articulated by MLK JR. of being "judged by the content of our character instead of the color of our skin."
