Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has been caught dodging Texas fines that were filed against her business five years ago.
AOC had previously promised to pay back the unpaid taxes, the reason for the imposed fines, but her team recently claimed she would be fighting the warrant.
A NY Post claimed back in 2019 that a “spokesman for Ocasio-Cortez, who has called for sweeping tax hikes on the rich, told The Post… that the taxes would be paid right away.”
It is kind of ironic the socialist lawmaker who wants to raise taxes on many Americans has refused to pay her own taxes. The Bronx County Clerk’s Office has officially confirmed the tax warrant against Ocasio-Cortez’s business is still open.
