Covid-19 cases are creating a noticeable drop in travel and recreational business, top executives say. While there are, as of right now, no serious plans for businesses to close or even go back to partial capacity, executives and small business owners are concerned mandates and business restrictions are just on the horizon as we near the fall. Jay Marciano, chairman of Aeg Live LLC said, “If they require live events to go back to 50% capacity, that simply doesn’t work economically.” Even though current speculations are still just speculations, after the last year’s troubles business owners have every right to be concerned when it comes to more government overreach. After all, business becomes less and less in their control with every new Covid variant.
