According to The Washington Post, “A California man carrying at least one weapon near Brett M. Kavanaugh’s Maryland home has been taken into custody by police after telling officers he wanted to kill the Supreme Court justice,”
Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell sternly noted that this man was only able to get so far because House Democrats refused to increase Supreme Court security after the Roe v. Wade leak.
The bill, aimed at ensuring the safety of Supreme Court justices by bolstering their security, was held up by House Democrats.
“House Democrats must pass this bill and they need to do it today,” McConnell reportedly said, according to the Daily Wire.
Even the far-left Washington Port reported that it appeared the man was indeed angry about the contents of the leaked opinion, and that that is why he planned on murdering one of the conservative justices.
“Two people familiar with the investigation said the initial evidence indicates that the man was angry about the leaked draft of an opinion by the Supreme Court signaling that the court is preparing to overturn Roe. v. Wade, the 49-year-old decision that guaranteed the constitutional right to have an abortion,” The Washington Post noted.
