Due to the recent heartbeat bill passed in Texas, the process of providing abortion pills through the mail has significantly ticked up over the passed weeks.
Almost in response, the Texas legislature has just passed a bill making it a felony to provide abortion pills through the mail or through other means of delivery—this act would be punishable by jail time.
Together, these two recent laws passed in Texas make it extremely difficult to obtain an abortion after six weeks of pregnancy.
