NY Judge Sets Precedent, Backs Religious Exemptions

A federal judge extended an order requiring religious exemptions to be a allowed by healthcare workers in a ruling that could shape the the landscape around the enforcement of the Biden Administrations coming mandate.

The biggest issue in New York had been that there where provisions for medical exemptions, but none provided for a workers religious convictions.

When the mandate took effect, thousands of healthcare workers lost there job, simply for not getting the Covid-19 vaccine. There was only a 30 day warning given by the state.

This ruling does not necessarily believe situations will improve for those seeking a religious exemption, but only that healthcare companies now have the option to recognize such exemptions as legitimate.
