Shocking Evidence: Report Shows "Dark Money" Was Involved in Jackson's Nomination

Updated: Apr 3, 2022

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse has spent the last decade hustling Republicans over the use of "Dark Money" and attempting to expose perceived shady behavior by right-wing activist groups.

These efforts are the epitome of hypocrisy.

These efforts are the epitome of hypocrisy. According to Kimberly Strassel Writing for the Wall Street Journal, not exactly a far right-wing news organization, these slurs against conservatives are designed to "deflect" from the left's own use of Dark Money, which "Dwarfs anything on the right, including Supreme Court picks."

In the WSJ report, it is made clear not only that the Democrats utilize "Dark Money," or donations by activist groups, to a far greater extent than the right, but that they "pioneered the effort in 1987 when they spent a then whopping $1.5 million on attack ads against Niel Bork."

The Report Indicates the Large-Scale use of Dark Money by the Left

According to the report, Demand Justice, a left-wing activist group, "spearheaded attacks made on President Trumps Judicial Nominees, including that of Bret Kavanaugh." and is a "leading advocate of court-packing."

Demand Justice was especially active in the nomination of Justice Ketanji Jackson, who left us all speechless--in a different way than you might think. This month alone DM has spent over $1 million in campaign ads for justice Jackson.

According to the WSJ report, DM activists issued a "short-list" of judges that they thought should be on the supreme court. This list was issued in 2019 and included Ketanji Jackson.

This month alone "Demand Justice" has spent over $1 million in campaign ads for justice Jackson.

Demand Justice is a project of the Sixteen Thirty Fund, and their dark money is just about as "dark" as it gets. The Atlantic calls the Sixteen Thirty Fund the "Undisputed heavyweight of Democratic dark money," more than quadrupling the funding attained by right-wing funds every year.

Don't be fooled, Joe Biden did not nominate Judge Ketanji Jackson, left-wing dark money groups did.
