(Study) Americans Are Wasting 1300 Hours A Year Doing This:

Last year, driven partially by increased seclusion due to lockdowns and pandemic worries, Americans spent an average of 1300 hours on social media last year, according to a study from Uswitch.

The app that led the way was Facebook, consuming an average of 58 minutes a day. Facebook was followed closely by Instagram and the notorious Tik Tok.

According to a Forbes analysis of the report, the study found that members of Gen-Z spend over nine hours per day in front of a screen, that's in addition to their time spent on social media.

This comes as mental health is at an all-time low among teens in the U.S. and amid the release of studies that have shown that excessive social media use is in no way helping.
